In the months after the smoking ban was rolled out. Our late night bar and restaurant business after 8pm dropped 79% in 2 months. Sen. Oberstar was in Reddog Billys's in November 2009 with the mayor of Pine City and City Officials. When I mentioned that on average a small business in Minnesota pays up to 23 cents on every dollar taken in the form of taxes, it was clear that nobody would into me to the senator. In fact he did not even request to meet the owner of the restaurant he was having lunch in. I contacted the Gov. office for assistance with Reddog Billys and the issues with the bank in Pine City that held our note, before being put on a cease and desist order and eventually closed by the FDIC. I have so much i could go on for a while. But what is Minnesota going to do to help the small business community? I have spoken with the newspapers and can not find anyone who will just evaluate the whole Reddog Billy's deal with Horizon bank. My wife and I have lost our entire life savings and can't get anyone to just look at it. This needs to be examined. With my background and experience and trying to do things the right and legal way and have everything taken from you by a banks practice's. How does this happen to us, active duty vets. worked 7 days a week and con provide plenty of people who can support what was going on. No material possessions, except our home (which Horizon has tied to Reddog Billys. I would really like to find a ghost writer to help me break our whole story to the public.
